YOUNGSTERS at Yeo Moor Primary School in Clevedon kicked off their new Beside the Seaside topic with a special pirate-themed day.
Pirate Greene paid year one pupils a visit before trying to steal their treasure and make them walk the plank.
Fortunately, they were then visited by the much kinder Pirate Jackson who shared his goodies of weevil-infested ship biscuits and lime cordial to beat scurvy.
