SEEDS for tomatoes, lettuce, courgettes, peppers and peas were donated to a Nailsea school by Waitrose.
Staff from the supermarket visited pupils from Ravenswood School to teach them how to grow plants.
The younger children will be pairing up with older pupils to plant the seeds and take care of the plants in their school garden and greenhouse.
Pupils from Mary Elton Primary in Clevedon, St Francis Primary in Nailsea and Northleaze Primary in Long Ashton were also invited into the branch to sample unusual produce.
