Youngsters enjoyed some seaside fun as part of a geography and history curriculum week.

The nursery and reception children at Trinity Primary School in Portishead have been learning about the Victorian seaside and as part of this took part in kite-making, chip making, Victorian games and also had the chance to dig around in the sandpit.

As part of the week, a host of other activities were also put on for year one pupils who have been learning about the high street through the ages and year two children who have been learning about Portishead’s famous people.

Pupils in years three, four, five and six have been learning about the Romans, education and the church, The Ashlands and the River Severn in their respective classes.
