CREATIVE pupils worked together to make their very own land yachts for an inter-school challenge.
Children from seven North Somerset primary schools took part in the 2012 Model Land Yacht Competition, when there creations were raced against each other to see which would travel the furthest distance.
Each of the yachts was powered by a static fan placed in the school hall of Mary Elton Primary School in Clevedon. Children from the Holland Road school came first in the Key Stage Two contest.
