Primary School pupils in Portbury have been getting enjoying British astronomy success.
Student and staff at St Mary’s Primary School watched the space lift-off on December 15 and will follow British astronaut Tim Peake’s time on the International Space Station over the coming months.
The children hope to be able to communicate with Tim at some point during his mission.
However, last week they made space-themed headgear.
