Shoeboxes full of festive treats have been collected by youngsters at St Francis Primary School in Nailsea.
The boxes were filled for Samaritan’s Purse UK’s Operation Christmas Child and have been sent around the town to families in need.
A school spokesman said: “88 colourful shoeboxes full of little treats have been carefully put together by generous parents and children and were collected by local organisers who will make sure they get to homes that will benefit from them at Christmas time.”
