School to put up new flagpole?

A Portishead primary school has applied for permission from the council to put up a flagpole within its grounds.

St Joseph’s Primary School, in Bristol Road, has asked North Somerset Council for consent to install a six-metre pole at the front of its perimeter.

The school meanwhile is also in the process of building a new medical room which can be used by pupils when unwell.
