Flax Bourton Primary School has been given the prestigious International School Award for the second time.

The award, from the British Council, is given to schools which do outstanding work in international education.

International work at the school includes joint projects with its partner schools in South Africa and France and international awareness has also been woven into various topics followed by each class.

British Council chief executive, Ciarán Devane, said: “The school’s fantastic international work has rightfully earned it this prestigious award.”
