A PORTISHEAD school has been awarded the coveted 360safe e-safety award, rubber stamping its commitment to online safety.
Gordano is the first secondary school in the area to receive the award which is given to schools that deliver an extremely high standard of e-safety education, show excellent staff awareness and have robust policies in place to protect students.
A spokesman for the school said: “This award is the culmination of two years of hard work, during which we have, in collaboration with a range of outside agencies, reviewed and updated all aspects of our e-safety provision. We are now proud to be able to say with certainty that our e-safety provision of the highest standard.”
