School production for charity
TALENTED pupils from a Backwell school are preparing to put on a show for charity.
Sixth form students from Backwell School will be taking to the stage from March 8-10 to perform the musical Oliver!
The production, set in the 19th century London, follows an orphaned boy named Oliver who escapes from a workhouse and befriends a mischievous pickpocket.
Oliver! is being performed at Backwell School theatre from 7.30pm. Tickets are �6 and all profits will be donated to the Children’s Hospice South West in Wraxall.
