Secondary school pupils are set to bring some rock ‘n’ roll magic to North Somerset later this month.
Gordano School students are going to get Portishead rocking when they take to the stage in a fortnight’s time with their latest show-stopping production.
School Of Rock will feature superb acting and some killer tunes.
The story focuses on aspiring rock superstar Dewey who is kicked out of his band.
Spotting an opportunity, he blags his way into a role as a substitute teacher and gets a job at Horace Green – a well-regarded American private school.
Initial struggles give way to bonding with the kids and Dewey discovers they hold the key to his music career.
School Of Rock will be staged on February 27-March 2 at 7pm.
