Sports were on the timetable for pupils as they gathered at a Backwell school to take part in a multi-skills festival.
Fairfield School hosted the event which saw 169 infants from independent schools compete in a range of activities.
There were 12 events in the festival including tri-golf, rugby, football, bean bag throwing, curling and aiming for targets.
Teams gained points for each activity and they were all given medals for team work and fair play.
The festival was organised by Vicky Townsend, head of PE. Headteacher Lesley Barton said: “We were delighted to host the multi-skills festival at our school and thoroughly enjoyed welcoming other schools from across the region.
