MORE than �1,200 was raised for a Clevedon school during a Christmas fair.
The Friends of St John’s organised the event at St John the Evangelist Primary School on Saturday.
Raffles and tombolas offered quality prizes, a caf� serving tasty cakes proved popular and activities including plate painting and splat the rat were a hit with children.
Stalls selling gifts and Christmas items including cards, ceramics and cookies, were also set up for parents and children to browse.
