Staff, governors and pupils at Tickenham Primary School watched as a ribbon was cut by North Somerset Council leader Councillor Nigel Ashton to mark the completion of a project to refurbish and extend the school. At the Clevedon Road site a new hall has been constructed at the rear of the school and a classroom, headteacher’s office, entrance lobby and reception area have been created at the front.

The interior of the rest of the buildings has also been redecorated.
