School celebrates 100 per cent pass rate

PUPILS from a Backwell primary school are celebrating after achieving 100 per cent success in their exams.

All the year six children from Fairfield School who sat entrance exams have been offered places at their chosen senior schools.

Ten children were also awarded scholarships. Headmistress Lesley Barton said: “I am delighted to see all of our children’s ability recognised by receiving schools and would like to congratulate them.”
