? A NAILSEA school is celebrating after being given a prestigious internet safety award.
Ravenswood School has been working hard to improve its online security, to protect staff and pupils when accessing the web, and last week their dedication paid off.
Assessors from the South West Grid for Learning spent a morning interviewing the special school’s staff, parents, governors and students and were delighted to find the school provides a high level of protection.
Ravenswood is one of only four schools in North Somerset to have achieved the E-Safety Mark award.
Phillippa Wallis, Ravenswood School’s business manager, said: “We are delighted to receive this award as it represents the school’s strong stance towards keeping children safe.”
