A GROUP of dedicated young fundraisers in Portishead have been honoured for their efforts helping to support good causes.
Members of the RotaKids group at Trinity Primary School were visited by the president of the Rotary Club of Portishead, John Bridgwater, who handed them all name badges for their chain of office.
The children have recently taken part in a number of initiatives including collecting used postage stamps and raising money for a campaign aimed at eradicating polio across the globe.
They also attended an event at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway last month in which strips of coins were laid out along a specially-created Polio Mile to demonstrate how much has been collected by members of RotaKids groups in the area.
RotaKids learn about leadership, how to make their own decisions and put their ideas into action.
