The life and work of Roald Dahl was celebrated at a primary school in Clevedon this week.
Pupils in years one to six at Yeo Moor Primary School in Kennaway Road dressed up as some of their favourite characters from the popular author’s plethora of books.
Characters ranged from The BFG and The Fantastic Mister Fox to Oompa Loompas and Willy Wonka.
The children were also able to read parts of their favourite Roald Dahl stories.
Yesterday’s (Tuesday’s) event coincided with the 100th anniversary of the author’s birth.
