Medals and certificates were handed out at Mary Elton Primary School in Clevedon to pupils who spent their summer reading.
Children who completed The Big Friendly Read during the holidays took their awards to assembly where they told other pupils about their favourite books including Demon Dentist by David Walliams and James And The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.
