RNLI volunteers are keen to educate youngsters about the work of the life-saving charity and want to hear from schools or groups who would like them to pay a visit.
The North Somerset team of education presenters can talk about beach and water safety, lifeguards, tides, mud dangers and other informative topics as part of assemblies or smaller sessions.
In the past they have linked with school projects on lighthouses, science week, wellbeing week, Great Britons, communication, people who help us and literacy. They have also contributed to badges for cubs, beavers, brownies and guides.
Teachers or group leaders who would like to book a free visit should contact Jon Yabsley on 01275 857824 or email yaboo@btinternet.com They can call the education department on 01202 336330 or email education@rnli.org.uk
