A STUDY of rivers has prompted children in Pill to make their own boat.
Youngsters in years three and four at Crockerne Primary School have been learning about the features of rivers and how they are often a lifeline for many animals and humans.
The pupils have plotted the course of a river and are also reading the book, The River at Green Knowe as part of their studies.
