A REMEMBRANCE quilt has been compiled by Clevedon schoolchildren.
Following last year’s remembrance service, children at St John’s Primary School gathered squares of red material, which were made into a patchwork throw by Clevedon resident Grace Edwards.
The quilt also has an embroidered Poppy on it and is backed with black fleece.
It has been created by the children to say thank you to all of the people in the armed forces for the work they do.
It will be presented to a soldier at the school’s remembrance service this year and will then be sent to Headley Court, the Help for Heroes rehabilitation centre in Surrey.
