Ready Steady Cook competition

BUDDING chefs served up some tasty dishes as part of Backwell School’s Ready Steady Cook competition.
Three pupils were given a bag of ingredients and asked to produce a two-course meal which could be served in the school dining hall.
Judging was tough, but talented chef Emma Bakare won the competition by one point with her savoury chicken and pasta dish and apple and dried fruit crumble.
