Kind-hearted children from a Backwell school organised a talent show and a big breakfast to raise money for Penny Brohn Cancer Care.
The big breakfast kicked off the fundraiser with parents and children attending early to buy bacon rolls.
At lunchtime the charity’s butterfly mascot visited and pupils took part in a craft competition.
Children on the school council invited class mates to wear pyjamas or purple clothes to support the cause and the fundraising finale was a Fairfield’s Got Talent show.
Delighted staff and pupils raised £259 for the Pill-based charity which supports people living with cancer across the UK.
