BOULES fans headed to Kingshill Church School to compete against their peers.

The school, in Pound Lane, hosted the first Nailsea Schools Boules Competition and students from Grove Juniors and Golden Valley joined the contest.

The children picked up new sporting skills and were also able to put their maths and French lessons to the test.
