CHRISTMAS jumpers brightened up classrooms at Golden Valley Primary School in Nailsea.
Youngsters donated their pocket money to attend lessons in their festive jumpers and raised £330 for Save the Children.
The children came up with the idea after learning that over a million children in Britain live in severe poverty.
The pupils wanted to do something to help those in need a number of pupils customised their own clothes to take part in the appeal.
