HOCKEY sticks were drawn as pupils from Crockerne Primary School took on teams from across the South West as part of a regional QuickSticks hockey tournament.
The youngsters from the Pill school earned their place in the contest after winning the North Somerset heat in March.
Staged at the Firebrands’ pitch in Failand, Crockerne won their preliminary group and, although they found the going tougher in the champions group, the pupils were delighted to win a bronze medal.
