Pupils plant trees at Nailsea School
GREEN-fingered pupils from Hannah More Infant School were invited into Nailsea School to plant 30 trees donated by the Woodland Trust.
The youngsters were helped by sixth formers from the school as well as experts from the Nailsea in Bloom committee.
The students chose to plant silver birch, cherry and rowan trees beside the school drive and the younger pupils showed great enthusiasm clearing the ground, digging holes, scattering the earth with bone meal and making sure the trees were firmly surrounded with soil.
Students from Hannah More School are looking forward to seeing how much the trees have grown by the time they start at Nailsea School.
