A WARTIME motto was adopted by children in Pill during their studies on World War Two.
Pupils in years five and six at Crockerne Primary School also had the chance to dress up in clothing from the time as well as experience life in an Anderson shelter.
These were designed to be small and cheap and could be put up in people’s gardens. They were given out to residents in areas of England where bombing raids were expected to take place.
