A MODEL village is being constructed in a Backwell school so pupils can light it up.

Children at Fairfield School have been building homes, schools, shops and vehicles to add to the miniature parish.

Two pupils also made Tower Bridge using the bricks.

Circuits were used so children could light up their creation.
