ONLINE shopping, emails and browsing the internet have all been mastered by a group of silver surfers in Clevedon.
Residents at The Hawthorns retirement complex have been visiting Clevedon School to get some top tips on the best ways to use iPads and computers.
A group of year 12 and 13 students designed a series of lessons and each week they have taught their visitors a skill of the day. The residents have also been given one-to-one support to cover their more specific questions.
Money raised from putting on the lessons is now being put back into the school to help the same students landscape the area around the sixth form centre with an allotment, orchard and seating areas.
