PORTISHEAD school pupils discovered what life was like for youngsters during World War Two as part of a subject-wide project.

After weeks of exploring every aspect of the war, children from St Peter’s Primary School dressed as evacuees to take part in role play activities at St Peter’s Church, where they were reunited with their families after months apart.
