n CHILDREN from a Nailsea school dressed up as evacuees to enjoy a VE Day party.
Year three pupils from Golden Valley Primary School were treated to a celebration to mark the end of their project on World War Two.
The youngsters baked honey cakes and sandwiches and made banners and bunting for the occasion before taking part in a beetle drive and playing battleships while enjoying some music.
