Delighted children from a Nailsea school are making good use of their new studio space and cooking facilities.

Golden Valley Primary School now has a new studio and kitchen area so children can enjoy some more creative activities.

Headteacher Kevin Lynch and the school governors worked hard to secure grants for the building work and staff and pupils are delighted it has now been finished.

Pupils can use the area for drama, art, dance and design and technology activities. They are also pleased to have a new kitchen area so they can prepare meals.

Cooking used to take place in the hall, which is now available for more PE lessons.
