WELLIES full of pennies were tipped into a toilet as part of a Nailsea school’s fundraising project.
Children from St Francis Primary School were asked to fill their boots with any spare change they received.
Families dug deep to support the cause and children enjoyed mixing their coins with hundreds of others in the fundraising toilet.
The school asked for penny donations as part of the harvest festival.
The money will be donated to CAFOD - the official aid agency of the Catholic Church - which helps poor communities across the world.
