A GLADIATOR-STYLE duel welcomed new pupils to Clevedon School at the start of the new academic year.
Similar to one of the challenges in the popular 1990’s TV show, youngsters battled it out on the inflatable structure to win points for their different houses on Friday.
Pupils at the school are divided into four houses called Walton, Conygar, Marine and Valley, which then compete throughout the year to be crowned the winners.
They are able to gain points through educational, sporting, community or talent-related achievements as well as by competing in fun challenges.
