CHILDREN from Nailsea tucked into spam sandwiches, rock buns and jam tarts to celebrate the end of their school project.
Year three pupils from Golden Valley Primary School have been learning about World War Two.
The children finished their topic with a special VE Day party and enjoyed party games, war-time snacks and songs from the era.
The pupils especially enjoyed learning what life was like for evacuees during the war.
