SECONDARY school pupils in Pill have been supporting a national campaign by holding regular litter-pick patrols.
St Katherine’s School is taking parting The Big Tidy Up, which will see each tutor group taking responsibility for collecting litter at the Ham Green site each Monday.
Their efforts are then inspected by a team of year 11 pupils and scores given to each group.
The school hopes the challenge will allow pupils to develop teamwork skills and give them the chance to take pride in their environment.
