Pupils at Yatton Infant School got to feel like a princess for the day, while also helping out a popular charity.
The school’s princess club, which was established as part of its learning college programme, hosted a fairytale tea party to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West, which runs Charlton Farm in Wraxall.
A school spokesman said: “They made invitations for their parents and baked cakes, made tablecloths and flower decorations.
“The cooking club made lots of delicious sandwiches and fruit salad and the ukulele club then provided the entertainment with some fantastic songs.
“We raised £95.87 and everybody had a marvellous time.”
