A primary school in Portishead has become part of a new multi-academy trust.
Trinity Primary School, in Marjoram Way, became an academy on March 1.
Headteacher Karen Sancto said: “We are delighted to be joining the Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
“We have worked very closely with Bath and Wells since opening in September 2008 and so this is a natural next step for us.
“We are looking forward to the excellent school improvement work that the MAT offers as this has an excellent track record and is reported by Ofsted to be of a very high standard.”
