CHILDREN from a Backwell preschool enjoyed a picnic at Backwell Lake as they learnt about the area.
Pupils from Meadowside Preschool explored Backwell and Nailsea on foot and by bus and conducted a traffic survey on the A370.
Gilly’s Café in Nailsea provided the youngsters with orange squash and cakes after their hard work.
