A NAILSEA preschool has become the first in North Somerset to be presented with an award for its music lessons.
Church Lane Preschool was presented with an Early Years Music Mentor award for developing music in a variety of ways and working with other preschools to encourage music lessons.
The award was handed over at a celebration event which included children from Grove and Church Lane preschools and Hannah More Infant School.
Mini Music Makers is funded by a grant from the North Somerset Early Years Team and Music Service and is aimed at boosting early years leaders’ skills in leading music and extending provision for younger children.
