The efforts of young people in Portishead were recognised and celebrated at a Hollywood-style awards ceremony earlier this month.
Portishead Youth Centre hosted its annual youth awards ceremony at Somerset Hall on November 16, with dozens of hard-working youngsters nominated for awards.
The red carpet was rolled out for the swanky extravaganza, which hailed young people for their achievements and work in the community.
More than 170 people were nominated for awards across a wide range of categories.
The audience was entertained by musical performances from Vocal Dynamics and Audacity, and the youth centre debuted a trailer of a film children have been busy making.
