Leavers said goodbye to their school days in fine style with a celebratory ball in Congresbury.
Gordano School held a prom for its A-level students on June 26, with the Portishead teenagers given a chance to relax after another hectic exam season.
Many of them will be heading off to university come the autumn, so this was a chance to enjoy an entertaining evening together before setting off on a new adventure.
The students met at the school, in St Marys Road, before being driven to their prom at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House.
There they enjoyed tasty food and music.
It was the second prom in 24 hours for Gordano School, with its year 11s celebrating the end of their GCSE exams the night before with a trip to the Webbington Hotel in Edingworth.
