Youngsters at a primary school in Portishead have been brushing up on their art skills.
Mandi Baykaa-Murray, an artist and photographer specialising in painting animals and wildlife, was at St Peter’s Primary School in Halletts Way to give year five pupils a selection of her top tips and techniques for drawing.
Children were able to have a look at some of Mandi’s most popular paintings before taking part in a sketch workshop which saw the pupils tasked with creating their own version of one of the artist’s bird of prey pieces.
