St Joseph’s Primary School hosted its Christmas fair on Saturday, with dozens of people celebrating the start of Advent.

There was a wide range of stalls which guests enjoyed browsing for stocking fillers.

Keen bakers showed off their skills and served up a tantalising selection of tasty sweet treats.

Children were lucky enough to meet Santa Claus in his grotto and share their long lists of Christmas wishes.

The event signalled the start of the school’s Christmas schedule, with nativity plays starting this week – and the youngsters will enjoy plenty more festive fun, including carol singing and parties, before the end of term.
