A new children's drama school held its first public performance on Saturday,
Almost 40 children from Portishead-based MultiStory Drama Academy took to the stage at Gordano School drama studio during a sold out performance of short stories based on traditional folk tales.
Four groups of children ranging form four to 18, enacted a different story adapted by the academy's founder Abi Hill and her assistant Calum Bonner including Japanese morality tale - The Stonecutter, The Tiger Child from Orissa in India, The Monkey's And The Hats, and The Freedom Song.
Abi Hill said: "I have been so proud of what we have all achieved since starting the academy in September.
"It has been lovely watching the children's confidence grow in different ways across the age groups.
"It was great to see each class taking such enjoyment not only in their own theatrical performances, but also by watching others and being inspired by each other."
