A WHOLE host of colourful characters took to the stage for an impressive performance.

Children in years five and six at St Mary’s Primary School in Portbury performed Panto Panedmonium to their class mates and later their families.

The youngsters, who are all part of the school’s pantomime club, worked hard for five weeks to learn their lines and practise songs in preparation for the show.

It proved a fantastic opportunity for them to show off their talents, much to the delight of their audience.
