STUDENTS at Gordano School are hoping the sale of a pool table will help them raise funds to refurbish their common room.
Youngsters in Fitzroy House say the full size table is hardly used and they are looking for a good home for it in exchange for a small donation.
House head Louise Evans said: “The pupils are keen to update their common room and have agreed that as part of their fundraising the under-used pool table, which takes up far too much room, has to go.”
Anyone interested in purchasing the table can make an offer to Miss Evans by emailing levans@gordano.n-somerset.sch.uk or calling the school on 01275 842606.
The purchaser will need to collect the item.
Miss Evans added: “We are not looking for a huge price, it will be nice to have the extra room and any contribution towards the improvements will be very welcome.”
