SCHOOL corridors in Portbury have been filled with the trumpeting sound of musical children.
Year five pupils at St Mary’s Primary School have been learning to play the pocket trumpet and lessons have been offered to the youngsters as part of a wider opportunities programme being ran by North Somerset Music Service.
Sessions are held each week, with pupils taught a range of notes and tunes.
